How does Prime Flip work?

Use the Prime Flip app to request your next vehicle, including when and where you would like the next vehicle. A Prime Flip concierge will deliver the fresh vehicle, transfer everything over to your new vehicle, and ensure you’re all set to go. Flip into new vehicles as often as you would like. Our goal is to ensure you have the perfect vehicle for any occasion.

What is included in a Prime Flip membership?

Every Prime Flip membership includes rights to a vehicle, unlimited flips between vehicles, and 1,500 miles a month. The concierge team delivers hand detailed vehicles to wherever you request. We take care of all maintenance and repairs so you can focus on driving.

What vehicles are included with Prime Flip?

Prime Flip offers a variety of vehicles including luxury sedans, SUVs, trucks, and performance vehicles. Our fleet is constantly changing, as we receive feedback from members.

How does Prime Flip pick the perfect vehicle for me?

Think of Prime Flip as your personal concierge service. Tell us about your needs and we'll match them with the perfect vehicle. More seats? Extra luggage room? Special date night? We've got you covered.

How does insurance work?

Insurance is included with all Prime Flip memberships. All approved drivers are covered by the Prime Flip insurance policy. Policy highlights:

$1,000 member responsibility fee 

$1,000,000 liability coverage 

$300,000 uninsured motorist

$2,000 medical payments to offset any out of pocket or deductible costs

How long can I keep a vehicle?

You may have possession of a vehicle for up to 30 (thirty) days. This way, we can stay on top of routine tasks like preventive maintenance. However, we’ll flip you into a fresh vehicle that is just like the one you have.

In practice, most members flip several times a month and enjoy doing so!

How do I join Prime Flip?

Download our app here and hit “Sign up." Follow the instructions to create an account. You will need to provide a credit card, select a plan and provide a picture of your driver’s license. We will verify your information and check your driving history. We may need to speak with you during that process. In most cases, we can approve an application within one business day. Then we will contact you to get you started and schedule your first flip!

Is Prime Flip in my area?

Today, Prime Flip delivers vehicles within a 30 mile radius from our headquarters in Westwood, MA. View our How It Works page for a closer look at our service area map.

Who is eligible?

Anyone 25 or over with a valid license and clean driving record.

How do I receive my first vehicle?

Once accepted, your Prime Flip concierge will work with you to deliver your first vehicle. We recommend you reserve at least 30 minutes for your first delivery so we can answer any questions and show you the ropes.  

What should I do with my old vehicle?

Contact the sales team at 781-381-4050 to learn more about getting out of your old vehicle!

What is the Prime Flip activation fee?

Depending on the membership tier, a one-time $500 or $1,000 Prime Flip joining fee is required for all new memberships. The fee is non-refundable and charged when your first delivery is scheduled.

How well equipped are the vehicles?

The majority of vehicles are equipped with a mid to high-end trim package. Most of our vehicles have leather seats. Other options vary by make/model and specific vehicle. We cannot guarantee the availability of certain options.

Are pets allowed in vehicles?

We do allow pets in the vehicles, but they must be transported in a crate. It is better for the vehicle and safer for your furry friend!

What happens if my vehicle needs repair?

Our goal is that you will never have to worry about maintenance or repair issues. If something unforeseen occurs, use the Prime Flip app to notify us and we will get you back driving!

What happens if I get into an accident?

First, make sure that everyone is safe, get your vehicle to a safe place, exchange information with the other parties and notify the police. Once the situation is stabilized, call us at 781-381-4050. We will bring you a fresh vehicle and handle everything with respect to the vehicle involved in the incident. 

How much advance notice is required for a flip?

The more notice we are given for a Flip, the better we can accommodate your scheduling needs! 

Do I tip the concierge?

Prime Flip does not allow tipping. Concierge delivery is part of the overall Prime Flip member experience and included with the monthly membership. If you have an exceptional Concierge experience feel free to reflect it in the service rating or by letting the team know.

Where can I find the insurance card?

View a digital version of your insurance card under "Your Current Ride" on the home screen of your Prime Flip app. Hard copies of the insurance card can also be found in the glovebox.

What about fuel?

All Prime Flip vehicles are delivered with a full tank of gas, and Prime Flip members are only responsible for the fuel they use. If you flip a vehicle without a full tank, your concierge will refill the vehicle and add the charge to your account following your flip. We never charge a fuel premium or convenience fee.

When is payment due?

A valid credit card is required during sign up. Your first payment will be charged when we confirm delivery of your first vehicle. Subsequent payments will be charged on a monthly basis, in advance. Any additional charges for gas or upgrades will be charged as soon as the flip ends.

What is the minimum commitment to Prime Flip?

Prime Flip is a monthly membership service. Pay for the first 31 days and give it a try. If you like it, your membership will renew automatically monthly after the first period. If you ever want to cancel, just let us know and we will end your membership after your current month has expired.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes. Going out of town? Love Prime Flip but need a break? Just pause your Prime Flip account and have one less monthly bill covering something you're not even using. No lease or loan allows that! 

Pause your Prime Flip account for any number of days for a $200 convenience fee. Then pick right back up where you left off for no additional charge!

Is there a mileage limit or flip limit per month?

Prime Flip membership includes 1,500 miles of driving per month, across the vehicles you flip into. Each additional mile over 1,500 in a given month will have a $0.35 per mile surcharge.

Can anyone else drive the vehicle?

Drivers may be registered as additional drivers and added to the member’s account, pending approval from Prime Flip.

Are members responsible for their Prime Flip vehicle?

Yes, we expect our members to take care of Prime Flip vehicles as if they owned them. Please drive responsibly, keep your vehicle clean, and let us know of any minor dings or spills via the Prime Flip app.

What is the condition of Prime Flip vehicles?

Prime Flip is committed to delivering vehicles that are in excellent condition. To that end, we use technology to ensure that the vehicles are properly maintained and driven responsibly. You will receive every Flip hand-detailed and washed.

What data does Prime Flip collect?

We want to ensure the best service and safety for all of our members. To do so, we keep track of various data points to record vehicle and driver history. For more information on terms of use, please reference Prime Flip's privacy policy.
